Pac-Man Championship Edition iPhone peggles surprisingly early, now 59p/99c
But it's still not the full game
Last month, a host of iPhone game publishers decided held sales for Thanksgiving, and now they’re all at it again for Christmas. The latest to festively cut its prices is Namco.
Here’s a full list of the games on sale, with prices in dollars. In case you need a handy guide, the Sterling equivalents are at the bottom of the page.
Most interesting amongst this lot is Pac-Man Championship Edition. This acclaimed titled appeared first on XBLA, and earlier this year the mobile version delighted our own Spanner Spencer enough to earn a coveted Gold Award.
The iPhone version came out just over a week ago at a limited offer price of £1.79 – a reasonable sum on the face of it, but that was for effectively a Lite version, with the full game available as paid DLC.
With that in mind, 59p does seem a much fairer price, and we wouldn’t be surprised if it stuck.
