Sony confirms first PS3 compatible PSP Minis titles
Will we have to re-purchase older Minis from December 17th?
Remember we told you that the PS3 firmware 3.15 update would make PSP Minis titles playable on PS3? And then Stand O'Food snuck up on us as the first title to make use of the new compatibility between the two PS consoles?
Well, Sony has officially revealed some of the other titles that are currently playable. The five latest releases – Dynogens, Heracle Chariot Racing, Let's Golf!, Telegraph Crosswords, Beat 'Em Up – are included, along with a few of the previously released Minis.
Be aware, though, that Sony has confirmed it will re-release the entire Minis catalogue on December 17th so that all titles are playable on PS3.
The wording on the official European PlayStation.Blog suggests that anyone buying one of the non-PS3 friendly Minis prior to this date will have to re-purchase the game should they wish to also play it on PS3. If that's likely to be your strategy, then hold fire on buying any of the older Minis until Thursday.
