Macabre but cute fairytale platformer Plushed out soon

Perhaps best known at this point for its role in setting up the free-game-daily Appvent Calendar, developer Blacksmith Games looks like it's about to make some headlines for its iPhone debut Plushed (Well, here's one, at least.)

It's an interesting looking platformer, with a neat soft 'n' cute art style - well it is all about a cuddly bunny who goes on an adventure in a cursed fairytale kingdom to save his owner, who's become its queen.

Oh, yes. It's the adventures of the reluctant bunny knight.

The somewhat macabre twist and dark humour of the setting and characters make up a big part of the game, with nine hand-drawn levels populated by various characters including a pizzaeater and a batcow.

There are also three bosses you have to overcome during your quest.

The action happens via a combination of touch and accelerometer. You can get some idea how it plays out in the following video or check out the Blacksmith website.
