iPhone gaming podcast: Episode 49

Well, the first half of it anyway...

iPhone gaming podcast: Episode 49
|

This week in the podcast, Rob and yours truly explore the dark side of the App Store with discussions about the Portable Gamer blackmail debacle, shill reviews on the App Store and the morally bankrupt games Alex Rennie would make if the Dragon’s Den members would let him.

There is, of course, the rumour mine too, as well as plenty of relevant discussion about the latest and most exciting iPhone game releases, which this week include Mirror’s Edge iPhone.

Spot anything different? Yep, that’s right, there’s no what we’ve been playing section in this week’s episode. But don’t you worry your precious little noggins about it.

You see, given that our podcast is prone to over-running time-wise, we have decided to split it in two so that there are two separate episodes published every week.

So this episode is part one with the hands-on focussed, second episode set to go live on Monday. In other words, news and banter on a Friday, hands-on reports and a run down of what we reviewed the previous week on a Monday.

Simple.

We think this is a much more sensible way of doing things, but we have also attempted to buy fries and chicken nuggets at 08:37 in the morning, as this week’s episode will testify. So what we’re getting at is, if this is a rubbish idea, do be sure and tell us. We might not listen, but we are still always keen for any sort of feedback.

And that, dear listeners, is it for now. You can get the latest episode from iTunes, your RSS reader or by clicking this link here. Enjoy and don’t forget to click ‘Track It!’ to be notified by email every time a new broadcast goes live.
