Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs out on iPhone
Can Scrat finally get the acorn?
Fans of the Ice Age franchise may be pleased to learn that the iPhone is getting the CGI treatment with another Ice Age app.
From what we can gather, the aim of Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is to help the highly unlucky, acorn-addicted Scrat collect as many acorns as possible, presumably for hibernation purposes.
Unfortunately for the much loved sabre-toothed squirrel, there are many pesky enemies and obstacles on your journey, making gathering acorns all the more difficult.
Dexterity and puzzle solving is the order of the day if you want to keep Scrat happy and, more importantly, alive.
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs includes four environments (chilly caves, snowy peaks, sultry jungles and gaseous caverns), various different obstacles, collectibles, hours of gameplay and a chance to meet Manny and friends from the film, according to the developer Two Tribes.
You can also unlock an Expert mode, but only if you've got the acorns (ahem).
Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is available now for £2.99 on the App store, and you can expect the review very soon. Till then, enjoy the video below.
