Jelly Car 2 out now on iPhone
Squishy sequel picked up by Disney
Jelly Car was one of the early charmers on the App Store, thanks to its mixture of squishy physics and a lovely hand drawn art style.
It made its way onto our ‘Top 20 best free iPhone games’ list at the beginning of the year, as it’s rather good. And free.
Now, from out of nowhere, a sequel has cropped up on the App Store. Jelly Car 2 will set you back the not unreasonable sum of 59p, and features, “more than 30 new levels, new power-ups and three new modes.”
Perhaps the most exciting new feature is the inclusion of a level editor.
The second-biggest news concerning the release is that the publishing rights have been picked up by none other than Disney. We can see why the bouncy aesthetics and knock-about mechanics would appeal to the home of Mickey.
