Motorola Droid spotted in Europe
Android Milestone headed for Germany
We know that the impressive Motorola Droid will be with our American cousins within the next week or so, but we want to know when we get a slice of the Android 2.0 action in Europe.
Reports have emerged from Germany suggesting that the handset is imminent over there, with a leaked business guide showing the unit alongside the already-out HTC Tatoo. The handset is even pictured on the O2 Germany website.
The guide refers to the handset as the 'MILESTONE', and an O2 listing suggests that it will set customers back €404.20 (£362.35), though this fee would no doubt drop when taking the phone on contract.
No news of a wider European release as yet, but at least we now know they’re thinking of us.
