US network Verizon runs Droid versus iPhone ad campaign

We’ve already reported on the upcoming Android 2.0 device from Motorola, the Droid, which is rumoured to have received direct design input from Google itself.

It’s not just the Californian web giants who appear to be throwing their considerable weight behind the device, though. US mobile phone network company Verizon has released a viral marketing campaign for the Droid that takes a sly swipe at the iPhone while it’s at it.

During a cheekily Apple-esque 30 second ad, we see listed all of the things that the iPhone is incapable of doing - such as taking pictures in the dark and multi-tasking - followed by the killer punch-line: “Everything iDon’t… Droid Does.”
