Glu adventure game is no longer Lost. I mean lost

Mobile adventure hit Stranded 2: Mysteries of Time coming to iPhone

TV series Lost disappeared up its own... hidden bunker at the end of the first series, but that doesn't mean that the concept of being stranded on a mysterious island is ruined, as Glu proved with its Gold Award-winning mobile title Stranded.

The sequel, Stranded: Mysteries of Time, proved equally popular and is now preparing to be discovered anew on the App Store.

The game follows the adventures of the overtly manly Dr Alex Howells as he muscles his way through a conspiracy that threatens to destroy mankind. A strange old professor arrives on Hawells's remote research island with a new machine capable of warping the laws of time and space, which explodes into an epic adventure across the past, present and future.

Few details have been given away about Glu's iPhone adaptation of Stranded: Mysteries of Time, but the screenshots show it's received a pretty major update in the graphics department, as the game has apparently gone fully 3D.

To get up to speed on the franchise, why not take a look back through our exclusive developer diaries (parts 1, 2 and 3) from the creation of the mobile game?

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
