Developer Meridian has been in touch to announce that its latest time management game, Amy’s Dessert Shop, has recently been submitted to the App Store for approval and should be with us shortly.

Meridian’s previous two titles Alive 4-ever and Against the Fire were both well received by Pocket Gamer and while Amy’s Dessert Shop isn’t quite in the same genre, we still have high hopes for this latest production.

The game in question sees you playing as the owner of either a pancake, ice-cream or cake shop whilst serving 60 different kinds of desserts. As in other time management games you need quick and accurate responses in order to satisfy a relentless stream of customer demands before progressing.

With the developer claiming that Amy's Desert Shop offers, “fast paced action and innovative game play,” it appears Meridian has all the ingredients for iPhone gaming success.

An introductory offer will price the game at 59p, and will run until the October 31st (spooky). After that you can expect to shell out the full 1.19p.

In the meantime feast your eyes on this mouth-watering trailer.
