PSP firmware update v6.10 now live
PSPgo owners get the most interesting morsel
It's PSPgo day – yes, it's out now – but any new owner excitedly rushing to the PlayStation Store with their new purchase (or indeed any existing PSP owner heading that way) will find themselves being asked to update their system software.
We're up to 6.10, if you're still counting. This one is quick and doesn't do a great deal other than add some music-related functionality, a few new colours to the options range, and tweak some of the Media Go management software compatibility.
Unless you're holding a PSPgo, because Bluetooth tethering (so you can connect online by connecting through a mobile phone, for example) is also unlocked.
That's not brilliant news for PSP owners (only the PSPgo is Bluetooth-ready) but you can't please everyone all the time. And it is PSPgo's day, after all.
