Real Racing is still way out in front when it comes to iPhone racing games, but it seems Gameloft is closing the gap with Asphalt 5.
The French mobile giant just released a cinematic trailer for its forthcoming iPhone rubber burner. The iPhone version will feature, among other things, in-game purchases, with the first add-on containing three new cars and a new track.
To be honest, the video below doesn't particularly show off the gameplay so much as the concept. As you'd expect from this popular racing franchise, Asphalt 5 takes to the streets rather than the racing circuits, and looks to have plenty of hot petrol burners to choose from.
