Infinite Dreams has been in touch to announce that its fish-themed iPhone game iQuarium is now available. It's a game sure to have fish enthusiasts hooked, line and sinker.

Sorry.

According to the developer, iQuarium is "a virtual tank in your pocket with a very smart and thirsty for attention Parrot Cichlid fish living in it.”

Similar to a fish Tamagotchi, but presumably far less irritating, you get to keep your scaly companion healthy and strong by feeding and playing with it, and watching how its personality develops based on your actions.

Over time decorative items such as vases, plants and rock features become available for you to personalise your tank and at the same time provide hiding places for your fish. Arrange them however you want and see your aquatic friend's happiness soar.

Considering a small fish tank will cost you upwards of £50, the fact that iQuarium is now available on the App Store for just 59p seems very reasonable indeed. Just remember to clean out your iPhone every couple of weeks.
