Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks DS chugging towards a December 7th release

Full steam ahead for a Christmas launch

Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks DS chugging towards a December 7th release

It seems that Amazon wasn’t too far off the mark with its predicted release date for Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. We reported last month that the online retailer was predicting a December 4th release, and Nintendo’s recent holiday announcement has confirmed that the retailer was only three days out.

December 7th - mark it in your diary, as that’s when Link will be huffing and puffing his way into your DS. Come to think of it, that’s around the time of a little event called Christmas, so those of you that celebrate it will probably be waiting an extra 18 days to play it.

The game is a direct follow on from Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, and features the same cartoony art style and intuitive stylus control. The key difference this time, as the title suggests, is that you chug around on a train rather than in a boat.

Head over here for our early impressions of the game.
