Subatomic Studios knows it’s onto a winner with Fieldrunners, and it appears to be making the most of it. Back in July we reported that the tower defence game would be making its way to Sony’s PSP as part of what would come to be known as the Minis service.

Now it appears Nintendo will be getting a DSiWare version, too. The game was revealed as one of Nintendo’s holiday releases.

Other announced titles were a version of GBA bit Generations title Digidrive, as well as the follow up to Art Academy - Art Academy: Second Semester and a bunch of Electroplankton titles (ten, to be precise).

Elsewhere on the announcement we received solid dates for Space Invaders Extreme 2 (October 20), A Witch's Tale (October 6), and Phantasy Star Zero (November 10).

Head over to Businesswire for the full rundown of DS, DSi and Wii releases during the latter part of the year.
