Make your own soundtrack in iMP: Surf the Music

Synthesizing music via gameplay is a concept that's been done before of course - most notably in the brilliant Lumines and Rez from beatmeister Tetsuya Mizuguchi - but when done well, it always brings something satisfying to a play experience.

Whether that's the case in iMP: Surf the Music, we've yet to find out.

The game does however enable you to create music as you surf through various tune tunnels picking up bits of funk - actually guitar, drums, bass and synth loops - to create a unique soundtrack that plays differently every time.

Developer Koolhaus Games also says it will be supporting the game with new level packs soon.

In the meantime, check out how it works in the following video.
