Call of Duty-esque iPhone FPS Modern Combat out this month

Last week we revealed that Gameloft is bringing a Call of Duty-esque military FPS by the name of Modern Combat: Sandstorm to iPhone. We obtained that news from Gameloft’s Twitter channel, and this morning we found a nugget of follow up news.
According to Gameloft, “Modern Combat: Sandstorm will be available on the App Store before September 1st.” That means you’ll have to wait a maximum of 21 days to play it.
We have troops deployed in Gameloft’s offices playing the game and fighting to bring you first impressions. Till then, why not watch this video again?
