Commandos coming to mobile
PC classic makes a return
Fans of PC strategy games will be familiar with the Commandos series, which - for the first two releases at least - provided some of the finest squad-based tactical play that money could buy. Now mobile developer Zed is bringing the series to mobile.
Unfortunately, we’ve been told absolutely nothing about the game, but from the screenshots that have been provided we’d guess that it’s going to stick pretty closely to the template set out by the original PC game in 1998. That means lots of sneaking around German-occupied villages during World War 2, dispatching sentries and destroying enemy facilities.
The game’s heading for release across Europe from July 25th, so we hope to give you an idea of how it plays soon.
