Here's something that looks a bit different. Brazilian outfit Musigames has released Leds!, a tricky word-based puzzle game in which you have to work out what's being spelt from a set of broken LEDs.

The difficulty level of the game will see you either squinting at three, two or one column of LEDs as the letters and numbers that form the word you have to guess scroll past. At least you get a clue from the image shown in the background.

In total, there are more than 700 words and 90 levels, with themes including Airport, School, Hospital, Highway, Food Court and Stadium.

"Everyone looks to LED panels, so we decided to make them even more fun in a game," said Americo Amorim, CEO of Musigames Studio. "When we go to places such as the doctor or the post office, we usually have to face long waiting periods in lines. This is always boring. We keep looking at LED panels, hoping the waiting ends soon. Now, with Leds!, we can also play with them on our iPhone, iPod touch and even Android smartphones."
