We’re deep into summer, where even the agoraphobics among us are starting to think of al fresco dining, walks in the park and - if we’re feeling particularly active - leisurely bike-rides. This week’s releases reflect that, with two of the games based on two wheeled transport.

Of course, a closer examination reveals them to be very different beasts, with Moto GP 09 replicating the 175mph thrills of elite motorbike racing. Tour de France 2009, on the other hand, presents the tactical endurance test of the great European bicycle race. Whichever you choose, though, two wheeled pursuits are clearly where it’s at right now.
