Resident Evil: Uprising outbreak on mobile
Redfield revisits ravaged Raccoon
Capcom recently announced it was to make a big push into the iPhone market, but apparently that doesn't mean it's steering away from the mobile, as it just announced another addition to the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil: Uprising.
This latest outbreak of the T-virus is set two months after the events of Resident Evil: Genesis, and Raccoon City is once again overrun by infected zombies and mutants (it must be nigh on impossible to sell a house in Raccoon City these days).
You take control of series stalwart Claire Redfield in an isometric action game filled with 'twisted environments' and 'elaborate puzzles' as you attempt to survive those mean streets above the Umbrella corporation's not-so-secret-any-more lab.
Apparently this is based on the Resident Evil 2 console game of ten years ago, which performed very well (on the PlayStation, at least), so fingers crossed it turns out to be an entertaining and meaty outbreak.
