Resident Evil: Degeneration sneaks up on the iPhone
The T-Virus spread through infected Apple
I’m a Resident Evil: Degeneration fan. I’ve played the mobile and N-Gage games, and I even got a centre row seat at a press screening of the CGI movie before it was released. So I was a bit disappointed that Capcom didn’t send me a gold embossed letter to let me know the game was coming to the iPhone so soon.
This morning I awoke to the sounds of groaning zombies floating on the cool Spring breeze, as the latest addition to the Resident Evil franchise hit the App Store. It appears to borrow quite heavily from the Resident Evil 4 style of play, with a laser-sighted, over-the-shoulder perspective as you attempt to rescue people from an outbreak in an airport.
Resident Evil: Degeneration marks Capcom’s App Store debut, and it looks as though it may have been caught out itself as the support links still point toward the Japanese language page. Perhaps it wasn’t expecting the game to spread so quickly across the App Store?
