We recently had an exclusive first look at the follow up to one of the biggest games of all time, Bejeweled, with PopCap’s brand new mobile version of Bejeweled Twist.

It’s not all that long since Bejeweled racked up an impressive 25 million units sold, so it’s no surprise that the classic jewel swapping game has seen further development.

Bejeweled Twist alters the usual match three mechanic by rotating a square of four gems, rather than simply swapping two adjacent ones. You can also rotate these icons regardless as to whether a series of three gems are aligned, and working out exactly how to combine those lines is remarkably different to the old style of play.

You can check out our preview of Bejeweled Twist right here, and pick up the game from today at most mobile gaming portals.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
