Tiger Woods PGA Tour tees off from the App Store

We’ve been looking forward to seeing how EA takes its increasingly realistic Tiger Woods golfing sim onto iPhone and iPod touch.

From our recent hands-on, it seems as if the company is looking to push that aspect of the game with fellow professionals such as Vijay Singh and Retief Goose being playable options, while the likes of Sam Torrence and Kelly Tilghman add commentary.

And now with the game released to App Store, we can see the full features list. This includes the touch-n-drag Swing Meter, touch controls to spin your ball while it’s in flight, and over 120 holes spread across 7 PGA courses, including Pebble Beach, St Andrews, The K Club and TPC Sawgrass.

Significantly though the multiplayer modes Tracy was suggesting might feature in the game aren’t highlighted, suggesting that we’ll be limited to the hotseat swap mode instead.
