Join the Rockstar Social Club, get a bullet-proof GTA car
And drive it into the river
Rockstar wants you to join the Rockstar Social Club. It wants you to join so much that it’s prepared to give you a gift. Specifically, it’s prepared to give you a bullet-proof ‘Hellenbach’ vehicle to drive around Liberty City in Chinatown Wars.
If you want to avail yourself of this vehicle, which is available for a limited time from May 1st, all you need to do is follow these instructions.
1. Become a registered Social Club member before 11:59 PM ET on May 7th 2009 (Thursday)
2. Link your Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Nintendo DS Friend Code to your Social Club account before 11:59 PM ET on May 7th 2009 (Thursday)
3. Sync your stats anytime after your Friend Code is linked.
Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to collect your new car from the auto dealer in BOABO, whereupon you’ll promptly drive it into the river.
In a game in which cars are so disposable, it's difficult to see why obtaining a particular car might mean anything to anybody, but there you go. If you’re stuck and you need something to boost you past a difficult section this might help do the trick.
