Siberian Strike shoots onto iPhone with Wi-Fi multiplayer

Gameloft's iPhone shoot 'em up Siberian Strike has just gone live on the App Store, offering 12 levels of bullet-strewn action.

The game is set in the 1940s, and sees you tracking down a nefarious Soviet cyborg that's threatening to lay waste to Western Europe.

(We miss the Cold War days. Although we don't remember the giant robot angle...)

The game offers four difficulty levels, and a choice between accelerometer and touch controls. We're guessing that the latter are more accurate, but the former are more fun.

There's also local Wi-Fi multiplayer letting you team up with a friend, as well as more boss fights and 3D animations than you can shake a stick at.

It looks spiffing. Yours for £3.49 - a snip for saving the world!
