Trumpet your Trump-trumping tramp-gazumping* skills

Build-a-lot is live for iPhone

Having got hands-on with Build-a-lot for iPhone at GDC last week, we're pleased to report that Glu's strategy game is now available on the App Store.

Costing £2.99, it's a real estate strategy game that turns you from a near-penniless wannabe into a top Donald Trump-esque property mogul.

That includes a 35-level career mode, or a casual mode for quicker thrills. You'll be developing property in eight different neighbourhoods, while managing money, workers and materials.

Okay, so launching a real-estate themed game in 2009 may seem like a strange idea, but hey, it's fantasy - the real-world housing market may be in the doldrums, but that's all the more reason to pretend all's well in an iPhone game.

Tracy described the gameplay as "fast and satisfying" when he played the game last week, so we're pleased to see Build-a-lot has hit its release date.
