WWE Legends of WrestleMania greases up for mobile

We’d say there’s been a resurgence of interest in wrestling outside of the core fanbase thanks to the recent oscar-nominated film The Wrestler, but we’d be making it up.

Still, portable wrestling games have always been a fun way to pass a journey, the OTT special moves and outlandish acrobatics slotting perfectly into the gaming medium.

So THQ’s announcement of WWE Legends of WrestleMania is worthy of some attention, offering you as it does the chance to dropkick, eye-gouge and chair-smack a bunch of wrestlers from the last 15 years of WWE.

You’ll be able to take control of 10 wrestling superstars in exhibition mode, or alternatively you can customise your own (always our preference) and take on the greats in career mode.

As you can see, the graphics are looking suitably chunky and detailed - you can almost see the sweat dripping from the wrestlers’ hair and the shaving rash on their chests.
