UK getting paid Android apps tomorrow, says T-Mobile
Thursday 12th is the big launch day
Want to get your hands on some paid Android games? You don't have long to wait if you're in the UK.
T-Mobile has announced that paid apps will launch on Android Market here tomorrow - Thursday 12th March.
The news was revealed at the company's Android media event in London - PocketGamer.biz grabbed the scoop.
"From tomorrow, UK customers will have paid apps on the phone, and there'll be a wide selection of paid apps on the market," said Regan Whitehead, from T-Mobile UK's internet and entertainment team.
Guitar Hero World Tour is being heavily promoted by T-Mobile around the launch, but major publishers including EA Mobile will have games available tomorrow, said Whitehead.
