Zeemote to sell standalone JS1 controller for €39
And they've demoed it running with a BlackBerry too
Zeemote plans to sell its Bluetooth JS1 controller as a standalone product, tying in with its deal to make the device work with Nokia Nseries handsets.
VP of sales and business development Jim Adams told PocketGamer.biz that the device will retail for €39 in Europe, and around $39 in the US.
(Yes, that's harsh on us Europeans, but you can blame the global currency markets rather than Zeemote.)
The controller will be sold through operator partners - the company was showing off sample packaging for Vodafone at the ShowStoppers event in Barcelona tonight, on the eve of Mobile World Congress.
Meanwhile, Adams also gave PocketGamer.biz a world-first demo of the Zeemote being used with a BlackBerry handset, via the company's new Zeekey application.
To see the packaging, and watch a video demo of the BlackBerry integration - not to mention another video of Zeemote being used to play an N-Gage game on a big-screen TV, read the story on PocketGamer.biz.
