Is Empire: Total War prepping for a mobile invasion?
A website button suggests M-Day is on the way
There’s been no official announcement, but while wandering the war torn battlegrounds of the internet we happened to notice that Sega’s popular Total War franchise is now boasting a mobile button on the official Empire: Total War page.
As you can see, it's currently blanked out and could just be relating to other mobile goodies such as ringtones and wallpapers but...
There was a mobile version of Medieval: Total War published by Glu over a year ago, which won itself a well-earned Bronze Award, so we’re about due for an update to the series.
The brand new release of the PC strategy franchise is set during the 18th Century revolutionary upheavals, with a particular focus on the wars of North America, including the American War of Independence.
The PC game isn’t due for release until March, but we’ve sent our spies and rakes (new unit alert!) into the field and will hopefully have more Empire: Total War mobile news for you very soon.
