Digital Chocolate set to sweeten the App Store

Tower Bloxx coming to the iPhone

DChoc’s been taking some pretty tasty bites out of the App Store recently, with its full and lite versions of Crazy Penguin Catapult and Chocolate Shop Frenzy, and now it looks as though it’s about to play its trump card.

Trip Hawkins’s number one property, Tower Bloxx, is gearing up to make its App Store debut judging by the screenshots that have appeared over at IGN (although it actually looks more akin to Tower Bloxx Deluxe, but that's just nitpicking).

The graphics appear to have had a very appealing lick of 3D digital paint, and there even seems to be a two-player mode using the same handset in landscape orientation.

The only real competition Tower Bloxx currently has on the App Store would be Topple, which went free not long ago and has set the bar quite high.

Still, news of the original stack ‘em and pack ‘em mobile title has got us quite excited, so let’s hope we’re not waiting too long for it to start teetering on the App Store.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
