Trapped: Undead Infection spreads across the App Store

Zombies just make the best antagonists for video games - mainly because it’s socially acceptable to kill them. 'Massacre zombies, and feel good about yourself' is the Romero motto.

So we love to hear about any new undead infections spreading on our favourite pocket gaming platforms, making Trapped: Undead Infection right up our dark alley.

The game adopts the tried and true zombie-outbreak-in-a-lab premise, and pits you as the only survivor - and appetiser for the undead - trying to fight and puzzle your way out of the infested facility.

The dark, manga-esque graphics and selection of brutal weaponry definitely make Trapped: Undead Infection a most suitable addition to the Romero canon, and the open ended levels ought to provide a decent amount of spooky entertainment.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
