Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D on N-Gage

Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D has been one of the iPhone’s most consistently popular App Store titles, so it’s great to hear the Crash Bandicoot team has arrived to support the N-Gage in time for Christmas.

Its previous incarnation on the original N-Gage failed to impress, but if this new version features similar racing action to the iPhone (and the Silver Award winning mobile version, for that matter), it ought to fare a lot better.

The game takes you across 12 different tracks, with a selection of weaponry to pick up along the way to blast your opponents off the road.

The same skidding, sliding, jumping karting action is promised, though we’ve no screenshots as yet to check how the visuals hold up to the other (very impressive) versions.

This must have been one of the last titles the ill-fated Vivendi Games Mobile was working on before it closed its doors in November, as it’s still listed as the developer and publisher of Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D on the N-Gage.

A demo’s available over on the N-Gage Showroom, so let us know your thoughts on Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
