Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Ninja Tribunal for mobile

New game to celebrate the teenager’s 25th birthday

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Ninja Tribunal for mobile

Hmm, you’re right – the maths just don’t add up. How can they be teenagers when it’s their 25th birthday in 2009? Mutated, weapon-wielding amphibians I can accept, but this teenage talk is just crazy!

Yep, well, it seems the Turtles are to make their RPG comeback to the mobile platform next year courtesy of Czech Republic developer Nostromo – the team responsible for Silver Award-winning Garfield 2: Royal Adventure. The new Turtles game follows the recent plot line about the Ninja Tribunal, and we’re told it’s focused around 12 never-before-seen ‘lost episodes’ of the TV series.

TMNT: Ninja Tribunal will feature two modes of play – one placing you in an explorative adventure style, while the other adopts a turn-based battle scenario. Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo will all be present and correct (and a little bit older, of course) and will need you to help them work together to unravel the mystery of the enigmatic Ninja Tribunal.

Nostromo will be following this game up with TMNT: The Shredder Reborn at the end of Spring 2009, so it looks set to be quite a mutagenic New Year.

What’s that expression again? Ah yes. Ahem… cowabunga, dudes!

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
