Mobile puts its fighting sandals on for Hero of Sparta

We've been cogitating recently about the fact that games are now hitting the iPhone first, then getting their mobile and other platform conversions afterwards - presumably to (quite rightly) maximise on an IP's potential.

Well, it seems Gameloft has a similar line of thought, and has just released its hot new iPhone hack'n'slash, Hero of Sparta, onto the mobile platform. Thirteen levels, upgradable magic and different perspectives depending on whether you're platforming of brawling sound like some pretty excellent features, so hit the 'Track It!' button now to make sure you don't miss our imminent mobile review of Hero of Sparta.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
