Natalie Brooks - Secrets of Treasure House for mobile

One of Russia's hottest PC titles goes mobile

Natalie Brooks - Secrets of Treasure House for mobile

You've heard of Tetris, right? Well, ever since the block building classic, Russia - just like the rest of the world - has been obsessed with gaming. PC gaming in particular, and indie developer Friday's Games's hidden object adventure Natalie Brooks - Secrets of Treasure House has spent plenty of time in the region's top 10 charts.

Friday's Games has since become an internal development studio for Alawar NewEdge Mobile (ANEM) and has now ported its PC game to the mobile platform. The game requires you to help Natalie Brooks to become a first class gum shoe as she attempts to unravel the mystery (and avoid the traps) of Treasure House.

"Natalie Brooks - Secrets of Treasure House is a very important project for our company," says Olga Znamenskaya, executive director at Alawar NewEdge Mobile. "The 'I spy' genre is rather new for the mobile market, so bringing this game to another platform seemed to be a very challenging task.

"The eagerness of our staff to achieve the original goals and objectives of the project made our work on the game very interesting and allowed us to raise our internal quality standard, optimise business processes and realise many challenging ideas."

Currently the mobile version is slated for a Russian release in December, to coincide with the PC game's sequel. ANEM says it intends to release all new Natalie Brooks games on both PC and mobile platforms from this point onwards.

"This project has brought our company to a new level of performance," says Andrey Yunoshev, chief programmer at New Edge. "We've created eight colourful episodes, added mini-games, incorporated location changes depending on the plot and introduced different elements of item search.

"Besides that we've developed a new effective tool for large graphic files packaging and created a framework for mobile 'I spy' games development. I'm quite sure that Natalie Brooks - Secrets of Treasure House will greatly influence our future development strategies and encourage further technology improvements".

No news on an international release as yet, but make sure you hit the 'Track It!' button to uncover Natalie's secrets as they come in.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
