PlayStation 3 game LittleBigPlanet has provoked a huge amount of discussion around the idea of user-generated content (UGC) and how that fits with gaming.

But actually, Nokia has been working on its own UGC-based game for N-Gage for a while now. It's called Yamake, and we got hands-on with an early version in March this year.

The basic idea is that players create mini-games for their friends based on the content stored in their phone, including word searches, puzzles and Top Trumps style card games.

More recently, it's been suggested that you'll be able to share the games you create not just with other N-Gage users, but your wider groups of friends – possibly via Facebook.

Anyway, Yamake is pretty intriguing, but it's not out until early next year. In the meantime, Nokia has just filled the gap in our knowledge (a bit) with a short film.

It doesn't tell you much about the game, but it does feature CHAINSAW DESTRUCTION. Check it out below:
