No more winter iPhone blues with Touchy gloves

Fingerless iPhone functionality

No more winter iPhone blues with Touchy gloves

Fingerless gloves aren't exactly a new idea, but selectively fingerless ones are. These new gloves from Etre only have the thumb and index fingertips exposed, allowing you to use your iPhone outside without disrobing.

As fluffy as this news item is, this is actually a pretty decent idea. Anyone who's been out and about will testify that taking gloves on and off to press a single button on their touchscreen (or any mobile phone with fiddly little buttons, for that matter – which is all of them these days) gets quite irksome.

At £15 they don't come cheap, mind you, but if fingerless functionality is something you feel strongly about, Etre's Touchy gloves might be a welcome stocking filler this year (modelled above by Winston Churchill). Check 'em out.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
