The Buzz: 'Tis the Season for Play Games!
|

Beginning The Bee must apology. It is a long time ago that he has write, but he has wonderful excuse - many good games! The Bee has not even time to make praise for Mercenaries 2 or Far Cry 2 or Fallout 3 or Dead Space, even though these games deserve being praised - he will also not praise Saints Row 2, but that is a different reason.

First The Bee has played Spore and then it is LittleBigPlanet, which is not disappoint! These both games have two things in common.

1. User-generating content
2. Upset religious

User-generating content is interesting feature of LittleBigPlanet, but after several unsuccessful trying The Bee has made a deal with the world: you make levels and I will play with them!

Much more interesting feature is upset religious. Spore has upset religious because it suggests that evolution might be true theory by making it happen to pink cartoon monsters with six eyes. Of course, Spore is not accurate portrait of Darwinian evolution either, but scientists seem not worrying.

The Bee can sympathise with religion sensitivity. After all, with Half-Life Valve is tactful to not suggest that teleporting aliens do not exist, and Shigeru Miyamoto is careful not to upset anybody who believes in fairies and gorons. If Nintendo can be sensitive to people believing in fairies, of course EA must be sensitive to people believing in God.

LittleBigPlanet has not upset all religious. It has only upset Islam when a Muslim musician Toumani Diabate has added lines from the Koran in his song. Of course he is making praise for Islam, but with this religion it is best not saying anything in case difficult radical minority becomes rage and effigy burning.

Freedom of speech is important of course, as M. Zuhdi Jasser, MD argued after the incident when he has said "Muslims cannot benefit from freedom of expression and religion and then turn around and ask that anytime their sensibilities are offended that the freedom of others be restricted."

But Sony is obvious happy to forfeit 'freedom of expression' when there may be difficulty.

"We wanted to eradicate the possibility of the game falling into the hands of the somebody who may deem the music track offensive," Sony's Jonathan Fargher has said. However it is possible to play on Sony machines a Simpsons game where (spoiling alert) God is the final boss. The Bee thinks Fargher really means, "We are scared."

Of course Far Cry 2, where you will murder many hundreds of people without meeting them, has incurred no religious angry. Everybody must have priorities!

The Bee has also playing Braid, a marvel XBLA game where it is okay to go backwards and forwards… in time! If you are killed you will reverse time to be alive and some objects are outside time bending and sometimes a shadow of you is existing to do actions and sometimes time and movement go forward and backward together.

You think it sounds confuse? It is confuse! Despite owning many books and satisfactory completing intermediate education, The Bee cannot finish any world. But he likes to make the jigsaw puzzles!

Speak of XBLA, The Bee is also playing Geometry Wars 2 very much – he is weave in and outside swarming luminous shapes firing everywhere to go into the zone! It is addictive great fun to make cascading explosions until the screen is glow with many colour fireworks. Unfortunate The Bee has spent annual XBLA budget on Braid, so has only play Deadline mode. His record is 8512 points – beat it if you could!

Last week The Bee also ordered Fable 2 from website. He has had a lovely time.

Yesterday he was outside cutting down trees to build house and neglecting to console his dog when many harlots are approaching him with sexual proposals. He is ignoring them for some time but eventually he is boring to cut down trees and so he asks a harlot to follow him to house, where he goes in with her and makes love while his wife is watching. His wife is getting very angry, so he blows out one big farting and everybody laughs. Marvel fun time!

Fable 2 will hopeful arrive next Tuesday.
