Asterope free for iPhone for limited time

We really enjoyed Niklas Wahrman's sci-fi iPhone game, Asterope, and it bagged itself a well-earned Pocket Gamer Silver Award recently. The good news for anyone who held off on our recommendation to grab it from the App Store is that, for a limited time, it's currently being given away for free.

An innovative physics-based spaceship game, Asterope was describe by our own Tracy Erickson as, "…charming - the sort of game that makes you feel good when you play."

And you'll feel even better when you play it for free, so here's a link to get you there a bit quicker. The offer is due to expire between the 3rd and 7th November (nothing more precise at this point, unfortunately), so don't drag your feet.

Spanner Spencer

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
