Today's lucky dip of costless handheld gaming joy is brought to you by the letter W. For no other reason than that our first offering is a wallpaper maker for the PSP. Not much of a lucky dip when we just spoon feed you like this is it? But then, that's how you like it (we assume).

Anyhoo, moving on. The Nintendo Channel hasn't been updated this week, yet again. Perhaps it's a little too much to expect Nintendo's current direct delivery demos service to have fresh content added to it on a regular basis, but then, the house that Mario built has a brand of wisdom all of its own (as evidenced by Mario's taste in facial hair).

In any case, plugging the DS gap this week is our very own Olly Farshi with a very helpful 'how to' video about the ins and outs of the new KORG DS 10 synthesizer. This thing is not for anyone who doesn't know who Brian Eno is or what Kraftwerk sounds like - you have been forewarned.

As for mobiles, this week we've added a couple of cracking new demos to our Demos section, including the fantastic Castle of Magic which is as close as you are likely to get to playing Mario on your mobile phone.

And that dear friends is all you are getting from us for now (what do you want, blood?). But fret not: if you feel you could handle more in the way of freebie happiness, our Freebie Archive is busting at the seems with nearly two years' worth of stuff.

Looking to the future, clicking 'Track It!' will ensure you need never go trawling in the unforgiving wastes of the internet for freebies again. We're here to help, consider it a public service.
