Since TrackMania DS was announced last year, we've been eagerly waiting to find out if the racing game is really as good as it sounds, and looks.

Now it seems our wait is nearing an end as TrackMania publisher Focus Home Entertainment has confirmed the game will be released this November.

As it was previously meant to be October that means our wait is a bit longer than expected. But then a game with the features listed below is hopefully worth hanging on for.

The jewel in TrackMania's crown is its 3D track editor - a mode which allows players to create their own tracks using the game's huge collection of track sections, loops, jumps and twists and the DS stylus to drag and drop them into place. You can then play your tracks against friends using the single cart multiplayer feature.

Single player meanwhile includes some 75 tracks and three play modes - Race, Platform and Puzzle - and the currency you win by playing can be used in the Shop to buy new tracks, track pieces and vehicle skins.

We'll have the exact release date in this space as soon as it's announced. In the meantime, you can check out a video of the game here and read our preview here.
