Pangea announces Bugdom 2 for iPhone

Large scale 3D adventure adaptation of the popular Mac game

Originally a Mac exclusive, Bugdom 2 looks set to become one of the iPhone's first large scale, 3D action adventure games in this new conversion by Pangea Software.

In the free-roaming adventure you become Skip, an outgoing grasshopper who battles roaches, flies, frogs, and other critters on a quest to regain his knapsack, which has been hijacked by Bully Bee. The game promises to let you explore the yard outside, roam inside the house, slide down the drain pipe and even go on balsa airplane bombing missions.

"Bringing this beloved Mac game to the iPhone was an obvious next step for the title," says Brian Greenstone, President of Pangea Software. "Bugdom 2 looks terrific on the iPhone. The colourful graphics are second to none, and the variety in gameplay mixed with the easy and intuitive controls makes it a fun, lasting experience for players of all ages."

Slated for a late September release, we should be hearing more details about Bugdom 2 any time now, so keep your feelers to the ground by hitting 'Track It!'.
