Pass the Pigs tumbling onto mobile

THQ Wireless helping you discover your inner porker

A confession: we've never played the actual physical game of Pass the Pigs. We've seen it in the shops many-a-time, but the zeitgeist-surfing digital lifestyle we lead doesn't leave much room for, y'know, actual boardgames.

At least, that's how we try to get out of our family Trivial Pursuit match at Christmas. Sometimes it works.

Anyway, we're about to be relieved of our piggy virginity (so to speak) by THQ Wireless, as the publisher is releasing a mobile version of the game.

The aim is the same: you throw a couple of pigs, and depending on how they land, get points added or taken away. The first player to score more than 100 points wins.

The game includes a Classic mode that up to four players can play at once, by passing the handset.

There's also a strange-sounding Pig's Life career mode, where you have to "manage love and money, and choose the direction in the key crossroads of life". Presumably still by throwing pigs in the air.

It sounds like the perfect recipe for a fun mobile game, anyway. Click 'Track It!' for an email alert when we review it.
