A few weeks ago we delivered the news that Oxygen was planning to release three games in a series called MyGames, all of which sounded suspiciously similar to Ubisoft's Imagine games.

My Make-Up, My Dress-Up and My Secret Diary were all announced by the publisher. Each game delivers pretty much what you'd expect but here's a quick run-down of their features...

In My Make-Up you can make over the personalised avatars of yourself and your friends, connect with up to three other players and chat, and also upload your My Make-Up photos to My Dress-Up to give your avatar a full body make-over.

My Dress-Up lets you host 'dress-up parties', collect fashion secrets and dress-up your personalised avatars.

My Secret Diary gives you a password-protected journal to write in, Fortune Cookie and Crystal Ball features and multiplayer support so up to four friends can share secrets and take compatibility quizzes.

Now, Oxygen - or rather O-Games, as it's now known - has announced a release date for the series. All three games will come out on October 21st. Nate Walling, first party liaison for O-Games has had some long words to say on the series, commenting: "The interoperability of Nintendo DS combined with its popularity among the female demographic makes the system a perfect environment for experiencing My Make-Up, My Dress-Up and My Secret Diary."

Which translates as: DS has touchscreen controls; incredibly, loads of girls have bought it and goddammit are we going to exploit that by releasing lots of games about clothes and make-up.

Ubisoft currently has its diary game My Secret World by Imagine (which sounds exactly the same as My Secret Diary) scheduled for autumn.

If I was them I'd be trying to make sure it's finished for the week before October 21st about now. Maybe if we can think of enough secrets to write down we'll do a head-to-head review when they're out. Or maybe we won't. Click 'Track It!' anyway, if diary keeping and the latest lipstick colours appeal to you.
