Race Driver: GRID released on DS this Friday
After a slight technical hitch, Codemasters's latest racer approaches the starting line
Codemasters has announced the latest Race Driver game, Race Driver: GRID, will be hitting the shops this Friday (August 8th).
The game was originally scheduled for a May release, but was delayed until June 19th. Then it seems it got stuck back a bit more.
GRID is the sequel from Firebrand Games to last year's Race Driver: Create & Race, which we scored a very good 8/10. And it promises to improve on its predecessor's performance with a multi-faceted track editor incorporating 60 different track pieces and near-limitless design options, as well as extensive online and multiplayer options for up to four players.
The game has also been built specifically for DS, and lets you race across three locations - Europe, America and Japan. Races are spread across different modes, including Career, Time Trials, Speed Tests and Chase events.
