Reset Generation PC demo now open to all

Get to FilePlanet if you're wondering what all the fuss is about

Reset Generation PC demo now open to all

If you own an N-Gage handset, you should be getting very excited about the launch of Reset Generation on Monday. We'll have a review explaining why then.

But if you want to get hands-on with the game before then, we've got some good news. Friday before last, Nokia launched a free PC demo of the game on gaming website FilePlanet, offering the complete single-player Story Mode.

However, you had to be a paying subscriber to get it. Well, not any more. The Reset Generation demo is now open to all, and still free.

It's played in your web browser, and works in Internet Explorer and Firefox, but not Safari (yes, we have all three browsers to test this kind of thing). You'll need the Java VM installed on Windows XP or Vista, so it looks like Mac-heads may be out of luck too.

One good reason to play it is that it'll get you up to speed with how the game works, and key tactics, so that you're ready to play online from Monday. Trust us, it's worth doing.

Play the demo by clicking here, and stay tuned for our review on Monday.
