Gameloft releases Brain Challenge for iPhone

Touchscreen makes brain trainer much smarter

Gameloft releases Brain Challenge for iPhone

Gameloft's Brain Challenge is one of the launch games on Apple's iPhone App Store, offering 43 mini-games to train your brain on the go.

They're grouped into five categories: Visual, Memory, Logic, Math and Focus. As with most brain trainers, the idea is to play every day in short bursts, tracking your progress to becoming a superbrain.

We've played the iPhone version, and can report that it makes great use of the touchscreen, providing a more intuitive interface than the mobile version (which was already pretty easy to use).

It also includes one exclusive mini-game just for iPhone, which uses the handset's accelerometer. You have to arrange cubes using The Power Of Gravity (i.e. tilting the handset).

You can choose from two personal coaches to oversee your mental exertions, with a Brain Daily Test, or just messing about in the training room or creative mode.

Brain Challenge for iPhone costs £5.99 and is available on the App Store now. Click here to go straight to its product page if you have iTunes.
