Telcogames execs set up new company

Mobile Entertainment Distribution Limited goes live

Telcogames execs set up new company
|

Last month, we reported that mobile games firm Telcogames had gone into administration.

The dust may still be settling from that, but three of the key executives have resurfaced with another company, called Mobile Entertainment Distribution Limited.

Telcogames execs Anton Devkamalth, Jamie Conyngham and Lewis Grant Macdonald are listed as its three current appointments in its Companies House company record, and the company's registered office – 77 Oxford Street – is the same as one of Telcogames' former registered addresses.

In fact, the documents reveal that Mobile Entertainment Distribution was incorporated on 22nd April, just six days before Telcogames gave notice that administrators had been appointed.

Another former Telcogames exec, Juan Montes, is listed as having resigned as a director of Mobile Entertainment Distribution on 14th May.

This all doesn't mean much to the average Pocket Gamer reader, at least until the new company's plans are known – the name implies it will focus on the distribution side of Telcogames' business, rather than the games publishing side.

But the news is sure to be of interest to the mobile games publishers who used Telcogames' distribution services.
